Kwickest Kool-Aid Drinking Contest

With contestants in four age categories, the preliminaries of this contest are held Saturday at 1:00 PM on the festival grounds.

A different quantity of Kool-Aid is used for each of the four age categories and contestants compete for first, second and third prizes only in their age category. Contestants must sign a release form and minors must have that form signed by a parent or guardian on Saturday August 15..

Age-Glass Size
6 and under - 4 oz.
7 to 11 - 4 oz.
12 to 16 - 8 oz.
17 and over - 12 oz.

Kool-Aid Drinking Contest

Each round of the Kwickest Kool-Aid Drinking Contest will be held at the Main Stage at the Adams County Fairgrounds on Saturday, August 15th. Registration begins at 12:00 pm and drinking begins at 1:00 pm. Contestants will be asked to form a line and will be called to the stage five at a time. In order to participate, you must complete a release form and fill out an entry form before you will be allowed to compete. Minors must have a parent or legal guardian sign the release and be present when the minor competes. Contestants are timed individually as they guzzle the required amount of Kool Aid for their age category and are not necessarily competing against each other.

You must finish the entire glass of Kool-Aid, spilling little to none  in order for your time to be recorded. The amount of Kool-Aid  spilled is decided by the judges or timers and their decisions  are final. The names of the three fastest participants in each age category will be announced at the end of each age group competition and posted near the main stage The fastest three participants will receive a prize after each competition.
